Review: It’s not that Charlie Brown.

Charlie Brown Remembers Atlanta: Memoirs of a Public Man is an as-told-to book by an Atlanta politician. Published in 1982, with both a full-color image and a fold-out page with all the members of the all-white, all-male Georgia Senate of the late 1950s and early 1960s, this sure looks and feels like a book that was financially underwritten by its subject (and the fact that this copy is personally inscribed by the author to friends does nothing to dissuade that thought.) But if you’ve ever wondered why the Fulton County Airport in Georgia is called Charlie Brown Field, it’s this guy, not our favorite globe-headed eternal youngster, who is being honored.
