I know this is pretty soon after the last newsletter (I’m planning to do only one per month), but I thought out I’d let everyone know that PEANUTS STRIP REPRINTS ARE BACK IN PRINT!
Oh, not all of them are available yet. (Most importantly, A Golden Celebration is still awaiting reprinting.) However, this week there’s a sizable increase in what we can offer you. Here are the primary strip reprint books now available for order:
PEANUTS CLASSICS:
Good Grief, More Peanuts (early strips from 1952-1956) Always Stick Up for the Underbird (mid-1950’s strips) Peanuts Every Sunday (juicy Sunday strips from ’58-’61) Sunday’s Fun Day, Charlie Brown (more Sundays, ’62-’64) What’s Wrong With Being Crabby? (dailies, ’63-’64) The Unsinkable Charlie Brown (return to the mid 1960’s!) two books of mid-1970’s strips (Speak Softly, And Carry a Beagle and Duck, Here Comes Another Day!) Nothing Echoes Like an Empty Mailbox (late 1970’s) two books of early 1980s strips (Sarcasm Does Not Become You, Ma’am and You’re Weird, Sir!)
FAWCETT CREST: You’re Not Alone, Charlie Brown (the late ’80’s)–yup, there are still some Fawcett Crest titles around!
PEANUTS TREASURY: The World Is Filled With Mondays (1994)
Plus we have the current printing of the 35th anniversary book, You Don’t Look 35, Charlie Brown. This one’s a great deal…
larger than the Peanuts Classics books, with hundreds of pages of strips (mostly mid-’60’s through mid-’80’s) and commentary by Schulz. It’s not as wonderful as A Golden Celebration…
but it’s only about $8 (a heck of a bargain!) and it’s available.
NEW IN THE STORE:
We’ve added a few new items to help us part you from all your cash. The A&E Biography episode on Charles Schulz is available on video tape…
this is a well-constructed bio, part of an award-winning series. We also have two new books for collectors of Peanuts memorabilia. Peanuts Home Collector is by Freddi Margolin (who has written such collector’s guides in the past), and breaks down items by which room in the house you’d keep them. Another book, organized in a more traditional fashion, is Peanuts Collectibles: Identification And Value Guide. This one is written by Andrea Podley, head of the Peanuts Collector’s Club, with some material by the ever-helpful Derrick Bang.
And remember to check out our Ultra-Discount Shop. This second store has a number of themed strip reprint books and other Peanuts books at tremendous discounts.
All of this is available at http://www.AAUGH.com ! Tell your friends!
