Digital Delivery of Da Gang

One of the fine AAUGH blog readers reminds me that something which I knew was in the works has come to pass: seven Peanuts specials are now available for download, through iTunes but also through Amazon (where you can download to a PC, a TiVo, or a Sony Bravia thingamajoogie, as well as streaming on a Mac.) Episodes are $1.99 each – i.e., for about the price of one DVD, you can download seven specials:

Click through on those, and you can watch a couple free minutes from each special.

You can also get 18 episodes of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show for $1.99 each, or save 20 percent if you buy all 18 as a season.

(And before anyone asks: no, the availability of these as downloads does not mean that DVDs with these specials aren’t coming. At least one of the above-listed specials is already in the works for DVD.)
