Peanuts PAL DVDs

Over in England, they’re getting Peanuts DVD releases that have shows not yet released on DVD in the US.
The good news is that (if the listings are to be believed), these disks are encoded for “all regions”. But that just means that your DVD player won’t reject it for being a foreign disk, for copyright control. The bad news is that these disks are built for the UK video standard PAL, which means that they won’t work on the typical US or Canadian DVD player/TV set up — but they will work on many computers and portable DVD players. All the links here are for ordering from the UK branch of Amazon – postage to North America will run you a bit, but it shouldn’t be that bad if you’re ordering several.

So there they are if you want ’em… or even if you don’t!
