What was in Nat’s box

I mentioned yesterday that I’d received a box, and that I anticipated what was inside making me a very happy Peanuts collector boy. And boy, it did!

In the past, I’ve discussed Charlie Brown’s Career Education Program, a series of film strips from 1979. I even showed you some scans of the Latina character Dolores, and of the film strip You May Live Underwater, Charlie Brown. Up until now, I’ve had 3 film strips in this 35 film strip series. Thanks to yesterday’s arrival, I’ve got 25. Oh, okay, I’ve got 23, plus two doubles, and I think I’ve discovered that it’s actually a 36 film strip series. But this gives me a lot to look at… once I get my film scanner set up, get a cassette player out, and get to look at it all. This will take a while. I’ve got hours of late-1970s goodness to go through here!

Italian surprise

I was going to do a brief write-up on Beaglefest, including mentioning the few things I got to add to the AAUGH.com Reference Library… really, just five items, three of which were books in Italian, which were picked up at the Snoopy Gift Shop. Now, normally I wouldn’t pick up …
