A month you may eventually need

I’ve seen 12 month calendars a-plenty. I’ve seen 18 months, 15 months, and I think I’ve even seen a 13 month calendar at one point. But never, to my recollection, have I ever seen a single month calendar sold as a separate item.

Until now.

Yes, if you are in desperate need for a calendar for this December and only this December, and you happen to have a Kindle, you can buy and download the Peanuts December 2013 Day-to-Day Calendar.

Well, no, even that’s not true. No matter that you may want to begin schedule December events now, the calendar does not become available until November 15th. So pre-order it now, download it later or mark it on your November calendar now to remind you to download December when the time comes. Wait, you don’t have a November calendar? That’s available as well… but again, for preorder. You’ll have to mark that on your October calendar… when it’s available, in a couple days. Put that reminder on your September calendar, which you can indeed now buy… but it still costs full price (which is, admittedly, just 99 cents), despite so much of the month having passed. You don’t even get a discount on the July 2013 calendar, and those days are never coming back.
