A DVD Valentine, an ultimate deluxe set, and a shrinkwrap note

A Charlie Brown Valentine is coming (well, returning) to DVD in December, paired with Someday You’ll Find Her, Charlie Brown.  Peanuts video maven Scott McGuire has pointed out that the release does not bear the “Remastered Deluxe Edition” banner that has come on most releases in the line, which reflects this disc’s lack of any documentary featurette.

And for those of you who were looking to upgrade your releases of the key holiday specials to the new Blu-ray edition (which comes with the DVDs as well), I should note that there’s also a deluxe edition of the set – it doesn’t have any additional cartoons, but it comes boxed with some window clings and a lenticular thingamawhosis.

I think I mentioned at some point earlier that The Peanuts Collection would be shrinwrapped; this is my error (I think I got one copy that was shrinkwrapped for some reason, and thus assumed they all would be), so do not worry about copies that you see that are unshrinkwrapped.
