For the Love of Peanuts

Upcoming releases

When I went to the Peanuts pop-up store outside of the San Diego Con (as opposed to the Peanuts booth inside the convention), what I was really hoping to find was… well, this thing that it turns out is going to exist, but not until next April. For the Love of Peanuts: Contemporary Artists Reimagine the Iconic Characters of Charles M. Schulz is a coffee table tome collecting the interpretive art that the (officially approved) Peanuts Global Artist Collective has been generating. The author is listed as Elizabeth Anne Hartman, who writes for the Wall Street Journal.  The book lists for $40, and is available for pre-order (which, remember, will look in any discount that appears between when you order it and when it ships.)

And for those keeping track: yes, you have seen the title For the Love of Peanuts before; it was the title of one of the Fawcett Crest strip collections.
