Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show DVD coming

Coming in June is the DVD Snoopy’s Adventures, which includes the “Snoopy and the Giant” episode of the Saturday morning cartoon series The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, plus Snoopy’s Getting Married. I’m not sure why Amazon is listing it as being 135 minutes; I can’t find any source suggesting that it would have more than those two items, which adds up to about 3/4 of an hour.

The branding on this is disk is “Happiness is… Peanuts”, which suggests that this will be a new branding for upcoming disks. It also isn’t branded “Deluxe Remastered Edition”… which suggests that we’ve seen the end of documentary featurettes on DVD releases. (And thus the AAUGH Blogger’s video career comes to a smashing halt, sniff!)

Anyway, it’s available for preorder now, at a reasonable discount. And this is the first time any of this material has been released on DVD in the US, so for you folks who want it all – here it comes.

Every Sunday comes around again
