Peanuts Collection now shipping – get yours signed

Well, I see that some of the key online retail sites are listing The Peanuts Collection as in stock for immediate shipment, a couple weeks before the official release date. I had planned to get through my preview of the book before it hit… ah, well.

If you’re buying a copy and want it signed, I’m offering two options. One is that you drop me an email at questions@AAUGH.com letting me know that you want a bookplate – which is simply a sticker that you stick inside the front cover of the book. If you want it personalized, or if you want more than one (this book was made with gift-giving in mind – although you will have to remove the shrinkwrap to put the bookplate in), please let me know. The cost of this is coming out of my own pocket, so I’m going to limit it to US addresses only (although if you’re beyond that, drop me a line and maybe we can figure something out), and I reserve the right to rescind the offer at any time.

The other option is for you to take one of the removable items out of the book and mail it to me. Drop me a line at the email address above and I’ll send you my physical address. Send me the item with an appropriately-sized self-addressed envelope with appropriate postage on it and I will sign your item and mail it back. This is done at your own risk, I cannot promise the postal service will deliver the result nor maintain its condition, and in no case do I want anyone sending the whole book.

Please note that neither offer is limited to books ordered through AAUGH.com. Get the book wherever you prefer!

If you have a favorite bookstore and want to preorder, the ISBN is 978-0316086103 (US edition), 978-1741730685 (Australian edition), or 978-1-84773-827-1 (UK edition.) For those who like to order from your favorite online sites, here are the links:

Snoopy’s Book Café

Peanuts collector Lisa, who had been showing all her finds from a recent trip to Japan, started showing off one of the Re-Ment sets of little kits that combine to make a diorama. They do lovely work, but Peanuts statuary is not what I collect, and besides, these are Japanese …
