You Can Be Anything Cheap

The Peanuts kiddie hardcover You Can Be Anything is now available remaindered for 60% off the cover price.

Now with remainders, I always warn that they may be marked with a remainder mark… but more and more, I’m finding that the copies from both Amazon and B&N aren’t marked, or are “marked” with just a removable sticker. For example, the other day I ordered a remaindered copy of Mouse Guard Volume 1 for 60% off the cover price, and when it arrived, not only was it not marked with a black line, it was shrinkwrapped. The only alteration for the bargain was an Amazon bar code sticker on the outside of the shrinkwrap, nothing that makes it look like a cheap gift. I even steered some comic book retailers toward this, because this is less than their wholesale price on this popular volume. No guarantee that this will be the case here, of course.
