A double-dose of Pumpkin

I am now seeing reports that ABC has added another airing of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown for this year, airing it in a half-hour slot on the 28th in addition to the hour long slot of Peanuts goodness the night before. Their airing it instead of an episode of Hank… and, frankly, that’s a big improvement. (I hope all the TV fans out there are finding things to really enjoy in this new season, but in terms of sitcoms, the only new launch that’s impressing me is Modern Family. It may not be for everyone, but then, I’m not everyone.)
