Cheap books and freeee books

Our friends at Book Closeouts (well, my friends at Book Closeouts, by which I mean that they send me money from time to time…) just added a bunch of copies of the strip collection Snoopy’s Guide to the Writing Life to their inventory, and they’re running a pretty good deal at the moment, so I thought it was time to look at what they have for the Peanuts fans.

Now remember these are remainder books, so they’ll have a little marker line along the pages (generally on the bottom edge), but otherwise are generally in good shape (unless you buy one marked “scratch & dent”). So these books are fine unless you’re giving them as a gift to someone who is book-aware, who will see the mark and know that you were being cheap — but odds are, they already know that about you anyway!

Peaunts/Schulz items in stock:

So what’s the good deal? For every buck you spend on these books — or any other book in the store — you get a free buck worth of books from a selection of 5000 books. No Peanuts books in the freebie pile, but there’s LuannGet Fuzzy, La Cucaracha, Baby Blues, Tina’s Groove, Mutts, Foxtrot, and of course thousands of non-comics books, audiobooks, and so forth (need a VHS tape of Abbott & Costello Meet Jerry Seinfeld?).
