For those who collect the boxes

Barnes & Noble has an exclusive boxed set of all six of the DVDs released under the new remastered DVD line. This they have for a list price of $99.99, and an online price of $79.99.

Thing is, you can order the non-exclusive boxed set with three DVDs (Great Pumpkin, A Charlie Brown Christmas, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving) for $33.99, plus the three other disks (You’re Not Elected, Be My Valentine, and Easter Beagle) for $15.99, $14.99, and $15.49 respectively, bringing the total to $80.46. So for committing to buy all six disks at once, they’re saving you 47 cents, or something around a half a percent.

And also there’s no indication on the web listing that this “exclusive” set includes the audio CD that comes with the non-exclusive three-disk boxed set.

So all in all, no particular bargain.
