This year’s Complete Peanuts boxed set

The boxed set of The Complete PeanutComplete Peanuts box sets 1967-1970 has been announced for September… which is interesting, because the second volume in that set, 1969-1970, isn’t supposed to ship on its own until October.

Between that and the reports (which I’ve not yet confirmed) that the boxed set will include the second print of 1967-1968 (correcting the misprint which left out one strip), and the fact that the boxed set is a significant savings (around $7) off of buying the two volumes separately, I’d suggest that if you haven’t already ordered 1967-1968, you skip that and preorder the boxed set instead (getting that additional 5% preorder discount.)

(Am I the only one who looks at the side of that box and thinks “with Ann B. Davis as the World War I Flying Ace”?)
