Don’t Give Up addendum

Just a quick note of something that I forgot to put at the end of the review of Don’t Give Up, Charlie Brown!, and that’s that this book should not be confused with the Fawcett Crest or Coronet books of the title Don’t Give Up, Charlie Brown. Those are reprints of comic strips from the late 1960s, and are unrelated to this volume (except that they’re also Peanuts books, naturally.)

Some sources list the full title of this new book as Don’t Give Up, Charlie Brown
!: The Wisdom of Charlie Brown
. That subtitle would be handy in differentiating the volumes… but it doesn’t actually appear on or in the book. So if you’re looking at a book listing, if the list doesn’t mention whether the book is a hardcover or softcover, you’re going to have to count on the listmaker having been precise about whether the title has an exclamation point at the end.
