American history, Peanuts style

Coming this summer is This is America, Charlie Brown, the complete eight-episode TV miniseries on DVD. I’ve been looking for this one to hit DVD for a while. If you’ve never seen this series, it uses the Peanuts characters to tell tales of various aspects of US history. While the “Mayflower Voyages” episode has been available for a while as an extra feature on the A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving DVD, the other episodes have only been on VHS – where they actually sell well for me at about $9 apiece. As such, this set is a great bargain – all 8 episodes, list price of about $20, currently available for preorder for $13.99. I’ve added it to the AAUGH.com video page.
