The Schulz bowling book is available

New releases

A while back I let you know that I was putting together a small book of Schulz cartoons about bowling… and now it’s available! It’s a thin little thing, 52 pages, a few dozen cartoons, and it’s nothing that the Schulz completist needs (all of the cartoons are already in It’s Only A Game or Schulz’s Youth), but it can make a nice gift for any bowler who likes Schulz’s work.

As for the title, while I got some good suggestions from my AAUGH Blog readers, I realized that there was a title I thought went well with one of the images from the book… so it’s Spares! But as promised, I’m awarding a free copy of the book to one of the AAUGH Blog readers who suggested titles – in this case, it’s going to David, whose suggestion Spare Parts was the closest to what I went with.

Spares! Go order it!

(And don’t wait too long… this one will only be available for a limited time. Barring an unforeseen change, I’ll have to take it off sale sometime this year.)

A needle-ssly fine present

Double Love

Simon Spotlight has dropped two books for the Valentine’s Day Shopping Season, and they’re pretty similar. Love is Everywhere, Snoopy! is a board book that is supposed to be Charlie Brown explaining love to Snoopy (who is said to have asked, which raises the usual how-does-Snoopy-communicate-to-Charlie-Brown question.) Charlie Brown answers …
