A Hallmark pop-up slims down

Hallmark is offering a new edition adapting A Charlie Brown Christmas, and it’s a mite disappointing. That because it appears to be a reissuing of 2021’s giant lights-and-sounds edition, only smaller — where the previous book was 13.5″ by 16″, this one is only 11″ by 13.5″ – still large, but not that large. And really, the size was the biggest thing the older edition; the pop-ups were okay, the lighting kinda weak.
Am I going to buy this new edition? Yes, because I’m a completionist when it comes to book editions of A Charlie Brown Christmas. And while this new edition if $45 instead of the larger one’s $65, I’m still going to wait until I can get some sort of a discount on it.
Speaking of discounts… Hallmark also has the light-up pop-up adaptation of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown for half off in th wake of the holiday. $12.49 is a pretty good price for this book, which I find better in its effects than the Christmas book.
