Book release event!

Upcoming releases

The Schulz Museum is having a release event for the book I just co-wrote with Schulz Museum curator Benjamin L. Clark (and with contributions from dozens of interesting folks). Here is the official announcement:

Saturday, Nov. 12, 6:00 pm Celebrating 100 Years of Charles M. Schulz Al Roker (TODAY Show) celebrates Charles M. Schulz’s centennial and the book release of Charles M. Schulz: The Art and Life of the Peanuts Creator in 100 Objects. Roker will moderate a discussion about Schulz’s influence with cartoonists Robb Armstrong (JumpStart), Cathy Guisewite (Cathy), Patrick McDonnell (MUTTS), and Stephan Pastis (Pearls Before Swine), all of whom contributed to the new book. Tickets required.

“Tickets” in this case are $60, but include a copy of the book, signed by Jean Schulz! And, of course, if you’re coming in from a distance, make sure you come in early and take some time to enjoy the museum and its environs!

(Note: just in case anyone is coming with hopes of meeting me, I should note that I do not currently plan to attend, although that may change.)
