Free Comic Book Day tomorrow

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow (Saturday, May 4, 2019) is Free Comic Book Day. At most comic shops in the US and Canada (and many elsewhere), you can walk in and get free comic books, no purchase needed. Some shops will give you just one or two, others will let you pick a pile of them from these special editions that publishers create for the day. Now, there’s no free Peanuts comics this year, but there are plenty of other interesting things. Avengers, have you heard of Avengers? There’s a free Avengers comic book. Doctor Who? Yup. Stranger Things? You betcha. One comic has stories of both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. Pokemon, Catwoman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Bob’s Burgers, Captain Canuck, Casper. Little Lulu, Minecraft double-featured with Incredibles. Spawn. And lots of things you won’t have heard of, some of which are being introduced for their first time in these Free Comic Book Day editions. (Not all books will be available at all locations.) So go, get free comics!
