A whole lotta Linus going on?

I’ve now received Peanuts Vol. 9, the latest (but not the last) in the books collecting the KaBOOM! Peanuts comic book stories.

The cover… well, I really like many of the KaBOOM! covers as art pieces. This one, which stylistically matches previous covers with other characters, is an interesting Linus piece. But in general, I tend to prefer covers that in some way reflect what’s inside. This gloriously Linus-y cover is for a volume reprinting 7 stories, of which Linus appears in two… and in one of those, it’s only for a page. (The other, the final story, he appears on five pages of.) Were I someone who was choosing this over other Peanuts books because it had a Linus cover, I’d be disappointed.

But, of course, I am not that guy. I’m going to grab it no matter what.
