Why Linus is our generation’s Jeb Bush

When they took the Linus-becomes-a-student-council-candidate storyline from the strips and turned it into a TV special, they gave it the title You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown, even though Charlie Brown was not a candidate. Linus didn’t get the attention he may have expected or deserved.

Now they’ve gone and done a new kids storybook based off of that storyline. What’s it called? Why, Snoopy for President, of course. (Although at least the title is legitimate this time, as Snoopy does enter the race.)

Poor Linus… never getting the respect he deserves.
