The Big Book of Peanuts, 1960s edition, with all of the non-Sunday strips from that decade, is mine, I tells ya, mine! $19.99 at Costco… and yes, they had the 1970s and 1980s at the same price. Yes, these books are based on an Italian series… but unlike some foreign Peanuts books that have been released back in English, they have the original Schulz lettering, not relettering.
While all eras of Peanuts are good and all have their high points, for me the 1960s are the most consistent in their strength. Over 500 pages of good stuff here, more than 3000 strips. Published by Andrews McMeel, but not available through any online source I’ve found. If you see these anywhere besides Costco, let me know!
