Humble Bundle is a cool site that offers bundles of digital goods – sometimes computer games, sometimes books – on a pay what you like deal, with some of the money going to charity. At the moment, they’ve got a dynamite deal on Peanuts books. You can pay whatever price you choose, and get five Peanuts books – three collections of the Kaboom comic book, one strip collection, and one graphic novel. Pay more than what the average payment has been (currently at a little over $10), and you get three more volumes of the comic book, two more strip collections, and another graphic novel. Pay at least $15, and a third graphic novel and two more strip collections are yours. All are “DRM-free”, which means you can back them up and move them between devices without hassle. If you like e-books, this is a huge bargain. That’s 14 books for fifteen bucks. Actually, it’s more than 14 books, because in a week, they’ll be revealing additional books for the set.
(Added to note: the comic book collections contain all of the stories that I wrote for the comic book, in case anyone is wondering.)
