The happiest post of the year

Those of you who have carefully memorized all the AAUGH Blog entries know what’s coming when you see a title like “The happiest post of the year”, and yes, it’s true. The news is good. There is going to be a book adaptation of A Charlie Brown Christmas. Admittedly, this is not the first time this has been done, but when it’s released this coming September, it will be almost a year since the previous attempt! How can they make us suffer so? Why are they not releasing one of these every month, every week. This one looks to be a new adaptation, rather than just a reprinting or reformatting a past one.

Also coming up is an October book called Lose the Blanket, Linus!, and we haven’t had a new book by that title for a dozen years. This one is not just a reprinting of that one, however; the art on this one is by Peanuts comic book artist (and occasional collaborator with me), Robert Pope.
