A while back, I offered AAUGH Blog readers a free ebook copy of my new humorous prose novella, Stand-in Superstar. I was reticent to repeat the offer, because you folks are reading this blog for Peanuts stuff, and it seems like infringing on your attention a bit to even mention my non-Peanuts projects once, much less repeat it. But one AAUGH Blog reader who took me up on the offer read the book and urged me to reoffer it, because he was quite taken with it and thought others would be too. To quote the review he posted on the book’s Amazon page, “This hilarious story was filled with scenes that consistently made me chuckle, guffaw and laugh out loud at its outrageousness and cleverness. The sardonic narrator also becomes a character in its own right, humorously describing its settings, making witty references and commenting on the zaniness of events as they transpire.” He does caution folks that this is not “G-rated” in the manner of my Peanuts work.
