Note the reveal: the introduction will be by Lemony Snicket. Who is a fictional character (but hey, Snoopy wrote an intro or two in his day), and who nonetheless authored The Latke Who Couldn’t Stop Screaming: A Christmas Story, which is one of those books I love despite, or perhaps because of, my wife’s utter repulsion by it.
