A couple pops shy of a fun book; and shalom noel

Animated Peanuts

Last year, in my too-completist quest for Peanuts books, I got the Snoopy Candy Fun Book, a box with a few puzzles under a flap, plus stickers and ten lollipops.

Today, I was ina. store that had these, and ao I pulled up my old post to make sure that this was just another printing of the same book, and thus not something I needed for my collection. And yes, same picture…

…but then I noticed: while the former one had ten lollipops, this one only has eight! That makes it an abridged edition, and thus something I needed for the collecction.

Meanwhile, I’m seeing the various complaints that A Charlie Brown Christmas is not on broadcast TV this year, but merely on AppleTV. And yes, something is lost there, but something is also gained. Broadcast television never brought us that animated special as it was clearly meant to be seen: with Hebrew subtitles.

I hope that those who celebrate Hanukkah are enjoying your holiday, and that those who don’t are enjoying whatever you’re doing instead!
