Amazon bargain prices can disappear at a moment’s notice, so I cannot guarantee these will still be there when you click on them, but: the recent hardcover rerelease of Chip Kidd’s Only What’s Necessary is 63% off and Charles M. Schulz: The Art and Life of the Peanuts Creator (i.e., the award-winning biography I co-wrote) is 52% off cover at the moment as I type this. Even the latest release, The Essential Peanuts, is 29% off. What I’m saying is that if you want a hefty Peanuts history book to give as a gift this Christmas or Hannukah, it might be a good time to buy.
Meanwhile, Fantagraphics has reported that they are bringing all the hardcover editions of The Complete Peanuts back into print, for those who don’t want to settle for paperback.
