If you’ve never seen the 1994 Peanuts special You’re in the Super Bowl, Charlie Brown, well, you’re not alone. It aired only in 1994, linked to that year’s Super Bowl, on NBC, which had never before and has never since aired a Peanuts special. It has never been rerun, never on DVD, never on streaming. It’s only home video release is a VHS tape that wasn’t even available at your local video store, you had to get it at a Shell gas station. This unavailability is presumably due to the wide range of NFL trademarks, not just in the title but peppered through the special.

But was that the end to Charlie Brown’s Super Bowl career? Apparently not… now he has a Super Bowl ring!

Oh, okay, the folks from FOCO are once again bribing, er, rewarding me for mentioning their new limited-edition bobbleheads (or is the plural bobbleshead?), this time a series of three, with Lucy, Charlie Brown, and Snoopy in Philadelphia Eagles gear, posed with the Super Bowl champion ring, which you can order (along with many other Peanuts bobbleshead) right here.

But hey, take another look at that VHS cover above. What team’s helmet are the birds wearing, and what team’s hat just got knocked off of Snoopy’s head. It’s the Phiadelphia Eagles, baybeeee!
