I bet that's not licensed!

Thus begins the Kindle book Snoopy’s Memoirs: It Was a Dark and Stormy Night, headed right in to a world in which psychiatrists go through their day-to-day life in lab coats with their name and career written on them.

Why do I suspect this not to be licensed? I mean, besides the fact that it is full of stuff that would never be in a Peanuts product like Charlie Brown’s parents, is peppered with references but follows none of the strip’s history, and has punctuation problems? Surely, the fact that it uses a Schulz image of Snoopy on the cover means it must be licensed, right?

It’s the author. You just can’t trust anything officially written by “Snoopy Beagle”

Easter in Peanutsville

Today in “I’ll bet that’s not licensed”, it’s…. Snoop Dogg’s Easter in Peanutsville (inspired, we are told, by the fact that Easter falls on 4/20 this year.) Share the news!
