The Peanuts Game

Back when I was working on Complete Peanuts 26, an eBay listing like this would lead me to fret. Sure, it’s clearly not lettered by Schulz, that’s visible even at this low resolution, but what if they had him draw a strip special for them and then change the dialogue? There were custom-for-ad strips done both before and after this 1959 game ad.

But not this time. This recycles the art from the May 5, 1957 Sunday strip. I can live without this in my collection.
