Peanuts Sunday Calendar

For those who want Peanuts strip reprints in every corner of their lives, there’s this Peanuts Sundays Calendar available through Cafe Press. Now, if you’re hoping for a calendar in which every day is Sunday, so you never have to go to work and you can show people what you mean when you say that you’ve not seen them in “a month of Sundays,” then you shall be disappointed. But if you want a nice, full-color Peanuts Sunday strip to adorn each month of your calendar, then this is just the thing! They’ve got some classic ones, too! “Touched the dog!” What Schroeder got for Christmas! “Put in the mouth!” “‘Used dog’, good grief!” Nicely wire-bound, it’s a quality calendar product. And since it’s print-on-demand, you can pick what month you want it to start with; use it for a school year calendar, or order your December 2017 calendar now! Now I’ve got to decide whether I hang this up and use it for this year, or protect it for the collection.  (I think I’ll go with A!)

I’d like to say that a free copy was provided for review, but really, it was provided because someone in the Peanuts business wanted to send me something nice. Yes, there are perks to being me beyond just the mansion and the groupies!

A needle-ssly fine present

Being a) an adult and b) not a Christmasian, it makes sense that I’m not given much in the way of Christmas presents. This year’s haul was just two items, both given by Dr. Mrs. The AAUGH Blogger: a Terry’s Chocolate Orange (yum!), and this Peanuts embroidery book from Japan. …

Double Love

Simon Spotlight has dropped two books for the Valentine’s Day Shopping Season, and they’re pretty similar. Love is Everywhere, Snoopy! is a board book that is supposed to be Charlie Brown explaining love to Snoopy (who is said to have asked, which raises the usual how-does-Snoopy-communicate-to-Charlie-Brown question.) Charlie Brown answers …
