Sorry I’ve been letting the rest of life get in the way of my blogging lately. I’ve had much of general reality to handle… with a thing or two for the Peanuts fans that I’ll tell you about eventually. Anyway, the fall solicitations have been showing up, with some upcoming Peanuts books, although at this point, it’s basically new books in existing series. We’re not seeing the sort of large number of new books that we saw last year at this time, with the various books taking advantage of the 65th anniversary of the strip and the release of The Peanuts Movie (which, by the way, is available for streaming, although the DVD, Blu-ray, and 3D Blu-ray are still upcoming next month.)

September:

• A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, a children’s book adaptation of the TV special.
• The Complete Peanuts volume 6, paperback edition – also available in a boxed set with volume 5.

October:

• The Complete Peanuts: Comics & Stories, that volume 26 I was telling you about filled with beyond-the-strip stuff, also available in a boxed set with volume 25.
• Charlie Brown: Here We Go Again, another strip collection in the AMP Comics For Kids line.

November:

• Peanuts Every Sunday: 1966-1970, the fourth of these big, beautiful books, also available in a boxed set with the third.

December:

• Sweet Like Sally, part of a series of individual character-oriented board books.
• A Charlie Brown Valentine, a new children’s book adaptation of the animated special.
