The Humble Bundle gets even less Humble

The Humble Bundle folks have added two more Peanuts book to their Peanuts book deal (and yes, it’s retroactive; if you’ve already paid for your bundle, you get these books as well.) They’ve thrown in the graphic novel It’s Tokyo, Charlie Brown and the strip collection A Valentine for Charlie Brown. That means that if you give them as little as $15, you get 16 ebook editions of Peanuts books: 6 strip collections including years of strips, 6 comic book collections with over 24 comic books worth of stories, and four graphic novels (three original graphic novels, one adapting a TV special.) Or you can be a real cheapskate, just give a buck, and get three comic book collections, one strip collection, and a graphic novel. And part of the money goes to freedom-of-the-press charities. (If that doesn’t sit well with your politics – it does with mine, but that’s me –  on checking out, click the choose where your money goes option and you can route all the money away from the charity and into the hands of the publishers and the Humble Bundle people.) There’s just a few more days to get this deal, so hop on it!

Another discount book

Hot on the heels of finding a discount printing of a Peanuts strip collection at Five Below, I discover another volume there. A-Maze-ing Peanuts  was  among  their five-dollar books, and it’s original version (which has a different cover) is a $12.99 list price book. I’ve no idea if this is …
