Number two times two

Despite several new movies coming out this past weekend. The Peanuts Movie managed to hold on to the number two spot. It won’t be able to pull off that same trick next weekend, with a new Hunger Games movie and a couple other new films being added to the mix, but it should stay in the top five, being the main “family” film in the mix. But that ride ends with the release of Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur midweek, and after that, we probably won’t have Snoopy in the top five until the eventual release of The Peanuts Movie 2: Electric Beagloo.

(And yes, I really did do this post just so that I could use that line… knowing full well that it wouldn’t be gotten by most of my readers under 40 years of age. But hey, it’s my blog, and that’s the way it rolls!)
