I just stumbled across Deutsch macht Spaß!, a three year old German language textbook for English speakers that aims to make learning grammar fun by using both Peanuts strips and Hagar The Horrible strips, all translated into German, as examples.

(To be clear, I don’t have a copy of this on hand… yet. I’ve been spending more than enough on new Peanuts books lately!)
