Snoopy goes to Tokyo

I’ve been looking for an excuse to go to Tokyo (Ive never been there… or to anywhere beyond North America and its associated islands, for that matter). And the newly announced Snoopy Museum Tokyo just adds that much more to the desire. For that matter, there’s a chance that it might be an excuse to go. Who knows, they may want someone who has written three books about Peanuts to come speak at the museum! Three books that have never been sold in Japan. A talk being given by someone who doesn’t speak a lick of Japanese! Yeah, seems rather unlikely, doesn’t it?

Anyway, this new Museum is just a temporary thing, opening this coming March and closing in September of 2018. It’s being  managed by Sony Creative Products, who are working with the Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, who have a lot more good stuff than they can put on display at any one time. It should make for a nice addition to the very active Peanuts fan scene in Japan.
