New York Times covers the Peanuts-by-other-creators book

ReunionThe old grey lady has a blog piece about this fall’s Peanuts: A Tribute to Charles M. Schulz which notes that it will have stories, strips, drawings of and about Peanuts, each with a text piece from the artist. Names they whip out include Simpsons creator Matt Groenig, Mutts‘s Patrick McDonnell, my pal Stan Sakai, young adult graphic novel superstar Raina Telgemeier, and more (the Snoopy’s Reunion tribute piece pictured here is by Jen Wang, who has been a regular in what has traditionally been considered the alternative comics scene, but is more and more just considered the comics scene, for a while.) You can, of course, preorder the 112 page hardcover (which originally showed up as Peanuts Off-Modelhere.
