Is there such a thing as “too many Peanuts books”? NO!

It’s book solicitation season, and in particular it’s time for publishers that will be hitting for a period that not only reflects “books being issued for Christmas buying” but also “books surrounding The Peanuts Movie” and possibly “books celebrating the 50th anniversary of A Charlie Brown Christmas“. While we’ve seen few of that last category, we’re seeing the others on top of the normal stream of books. So, adding to things I’ve listed in the past few days, we now have:
- Three more books in the Titan series reprinting the old Rinehart & Co/Holt Rinehart Winston volumes: Good Grief, More Peanuts, Good Ol’ Charlie Brown, and Peanuts Revisited in September, Snoopy and You’re Out of Your Mind, Charlie Brown in October, and But We Love You, Charlie Brown in November. (I’m going to flag a small warning on Peanuts Revisited; it’s being listed as 96 pages instead of the 128 pages of the other books, and the original Peanuts Revisited was actually 224 pages, so it sounds like they may be reprinting the Weekly Reader abridgment of the book.)
- The Sky’s the Limit, Snoopy!, a The Peanuts Movie tie-in kiddie book.
- Additionally, You’ve Got Talent, Charlie Brown, which I previously linked to as a Kindle book, is now solicited as an actual physical book book.
All available for preorder, naturally.
Oh, and there’s one more book coming up I should note, but I don’t have time for it right now (got to get the kid to kindergarten!) Tomorrow, folks, tomorrow. Because there’s always more Peanuts books. YAY!
