Happiness is an Expensive Puppy

If you want to spend a lot of money on a Peanuts book, then Easton Press is the way to go. It’s been a few years since they offered a new item on their list of gilt-edged, leather-bound, fancy-dancy editions, but supposedly this month they will be shipping Happiness is a Warm Puppy for a mere $39. Per installment. Three installments. It is an oversized edition, 10″ by 10″, and yes, it is the classic original version rather than the expanded, reillustrated, and not as endearing revised version that came later. If you want a book that comes with a mortgage, here you go! I’m going to skip this one myself (I do have a few Easton Press editions in the AAUGH.com Reference Library, but they are from when I’ve lucked into finding them not-cheap-but-cheaper on eBay.)
