Free Comic Book Day is tomorrow!

Free Comic Book Day is tomorrow. It’s a great day when most comic book shops in North America (and many elsewhere) give away free special-edition comics to people just for stopping in. Some shops will let you pick just one comic (and hey, that’s a deal), some will give you more. And once again this year, there is at least a little free Peanuts content to be had, as there is some Peanuts material in the KABOOM SUMMER BLAST (the sample preview had it being Schulz Sunday reprints, rather than any of the comic book-original stories.) This comic is what the Free Comic Book Day people call a “Gold Book”, which means that every retailer listed at the Free Comic Book Day store locator should have at least some copies on hand… although some of these things go fast.

Besides, going to a good comic book shop is a good idea anyway. While you’re there for your free stuff, take a look around – I bet you’ll find some good things to buy as well!

A portrait of A Charlie Brown Christmas. Also, a landscape.
