Cartoon Dogfight!

If you’re in the insurance business, and want to battle against MetLife and their vast success with a popular cartoon dog, how do you go toe-to-toe with them? That’s right, license your own cartoon dog, one with a similar name, and launch your own ad!

(And yes, this ad that launched late last year is part of a Scooby vs. Snoopy head-to-head; while auto insurance is not the most visible of MetLife’s efforts, they do offer it, and do use Snoopy to promote it.)
