a Big Peanuts book find

Discovered today at the local Costco is The Big Book of Peanuts. This collects all of the daily strips from the 1970s… which means that if you pair this book with the appropriate volumes in the upcoming full color Sunday strip series, you’ll have the complete Peanuts for the decade without buying The Complete Peanuts.

This book does not appear to be available online, and given that I found it in Costco, it is likely to be a special markets product, which means it will probably not be a standard orderable item through Amazon. (There is a chance it will show up at bn.com eventually, as they seem to do more with special market books.)

The book is a copy of a format that I have only seen in an Italian edition (seen in the picture, at right.) each page has 6 dailies, which gives us a 530 page book, and at about 9.5″x12″, that makes for a respectably big book, and one well worth the $19.99.
