Will the Peanuts movie stand out from the crowd?

There’s a new Peanuts film coming up in 2015, and for me the real question is will it seem very Peanuts-y, or more in the modern style of kid-aimed animated films? I’m certainly hoping for the former, and think there’s a good chance we’ll get it. Here’s a good article using A Boy Named Charlie Brown as a counterexample to certain thematic excesses in the modern kid flick.
