What Nat’s been working on

BankNotes_sampleThat’s a piece of the pencil art for a three page story entitled “Bank Notes” which will be showing up in issue 7 of the Peanuts comic book, due out in April. The art is by Stephanie Gladden, who I’ve wanted to work with for a long long time now. The script is by me. If you want this comic book, talk to your local comic book dealer now so that a copy can be preordered and held for you.

This has been in the work for a few months, and it’s just the first of the scripts I’ve written for them. I haven’t been making much specific comment about the Boom! comics recently, because I had that conflict of interest but couldn’t announce that conflict of interest.

For those that didn’t know, I’ve got decades of experience writing comic books, both with my own characters and with some well-known licensed characters. In some ways, writing these scripts is the most responsibility I’ve faced as a comics writer, because it’s Peanuts.
