The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show

I’m sitting here in the jury duty waiting room, doing my small part to bring justice to the lawless of Ventura County, and thought I’d catch up on something – particularly since animated Peanuts are on my mind (tonight is the season’s first showing of A Charlie Brown Christmas). And that’s the release of the complete Charlie Brown & Snoopy Show on DVD. Warners have been using episodes of this as second features on various DVD releases, but many of the episodes have never been so released. This release is part of the Warners Archive line, which is material they release not as standard-printed DVDs, but by burning DVD-Rs. This lets them do smaller releases, but it also means that the disks won’t last as long as a standard DVD. At this point, it’s only available direct from Warners themselves, but it’s likely to be available through Amazon at a later date… although if you want to buy it for someone for Christmas,
