Charles Schulz would’ve turned 87 years old today. The rest of this post has nothing to do with that.<\/p>\n

I’ve always been a bit reluctant to post Internet videos here, because so many of them are copyright violations (and as a producer of copyrighted material, I take that seriously). However, these days, with the biggest copyright holders cutting deals with YouTube and monitoring what’s on there, I tend to reckon if something produced by one of the big boys has been online for a couple weeks, it’s been approved.<\/p>\n

So here’s a bit of Peanuts animation you may very well not have seen before – the Peanuts characters meeting Dick Van Dyke, as the introduction for one of a series of specials that CBS aired on their 50th anniversary in the 1970s.<\/p>\n
