Most of the film isn&#8217;t using the 3-D in any aggressive ways. Things aren&#8217;t springing out of the screen to poke you in the eye. It&#8217;s in full use during the dogfight scenes, which are not an insignificant part of the movie, but beyond that\u00a0it generally just makes the background richer. So you won&#8217;t be missing much, I&#8217;d estimate, if you don&#8217;t see it in 3-D, but if like me you&#8217;re a person that strong use of 3-D can be wearing on, you don&#8217;t have to avoid it.<\/p>\n<p>(In contrast, the\u00a0<em>Ice Age<\/em> short that plays before the film really pushes the 3-D nature of it.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AAUGH Blog reader Jason asks me whether he should see\u00a0The Peanuts Movie in 3-D.
